Missing Grand Tour Bus after St. Bonaventure University game results in DWI arrest over five times the legal limit

On February 8, 2017 at 10:47 p.m., Troopers arrested Linda L. Edmister, 56 of Gasport, NY for Driving While Intoxicated-Commercial Motor Vehicle.
Troopers responded to St. Bonaventure University for a missing Grand Tour bus for the St. Louis University Basketball team.  Troopers were able to locate the Grand Tour bus using GPS on an item on the bus.  The bus was located and stopped thirty-five miles from St. Bonaventure University by Troopers on Main Street in the Town of Randolph, NY.  During the investigation Edmister was issued Field Sobtriety tests which she failed.  Edmister was arrested and transported back to SP Olean and processed.  Edmister had a .22% BAC. (The legal BAC level is much lower for a CDL license).
Edmister was the driver who took the team to St. Bonaventure University originally and was going to provide transportation after the game.
The St. Louis University basketball team was able to get another bus and continue to the next University.
Edmister was given appearance tickets for the Town of Randolph court for a later date in February 2017.
