When I received a cease and desist demand on Friday January 13, 2017, you could have knocked me over with a feather. I was unaware that there was a media company in the New York City metro area that operated with the same name. Honestly, my initial reaction was "I'm done." And then you all spoke out. I received calls, texts and messages from more than 100 people...many complete strangers. Even other members of the media sent notes of encouragement telling me to find a way and continue providing the news. Thank you. The support was humbling...
