NEWS RELEASE

Loren A. Chilson, 46, Dansville, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree and Operating a Motor vehicle with Obstructed Vision on September 13.  Chilson will answer charges in Geneseo Town Court on a later date.
 
Jason C. Torregrossa, 44, Piffard, NY, was arrested September 15, charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Reckless Driving, Failure to Control a Traffic Control Device, Unsafe Passing, Failure to Use Designated Lane, Speeding, Failure to Notify DMV of Address Change, Failure to Secure a Shiftable Load, Unsafe Lane Change and Failure to Signal.  Following LC-CAP arraignment, Torregrossa was ordered held in the Livingston County Jail on $25,000 cash bail and will respond to charges in York Town Court on a later date.

Amber M. Torregrossa, 42, Piffard, NY, was arrested and charged with Facilitating Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree on September 15.  Following LC-CAP arraignment, Torregrossa was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff on $3,000 cash bail and will reply to charges in York Town Court on a later date.
 
Brandy A. VanBuren, 29, Conesus, NY, was charged September 16, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree and was released on an appearance ticket to address charges in Geneseo Village Court on a later date.

Julian C. Massiah-Larkin, 21, Mt. Vernon, NY, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana on September 14, and was issued an appearance ticket to address charges in Avon Town Court on a later date.

Carrie A. Young, 43, Stanley, NY, was arrested September 17, charged with Driving While Intoxicated as a felony, Blood Alcohol Content .08% or Greater, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Unlicensed Operator and Consuming Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.  Following LC-CAP arraignment, Young was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff on $500 cash bail.  Young will reply to charges in York Town Court on a later date.

Zachary A. Bishop, 20, Piffard, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on September 17.  Following LC-CAP arraignment, Bishop was released on his own recognizance to report to Groveland Town Court to answer charges on a later date.

Ian J. Evaniak, 30, Wayland, NY, was arrested September 10, charged with Petit Larceny.  Evaniak was released on an appearance ticket to address charges in Geneseo Town Court on a later date.

Daniel J. Cooke, 40, Dansville, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny and Burglary 3rd Degree on September 17.  Following LC-CAP arraignment, Cooke was released on his own recognizance to reply to charges in Geneseo Town Court on a later date.

Austin R. Lang, 26, Williamson, NY, was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired-Drugs, Driving While Ability Impaired-Drugs/Alcohol, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Following LC-CAP arraignment, Land was ordered held in the Livingston County Jail on $2,000 cash bail. Lang will respond to charges in Caledonia Town Court on a later date.


Shane P. Smith, 25, Livonia, NY, was arrested September 19, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .18% or Greater, Speed not Reasonable or Prudent, Consuming Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle and Unsafe Lane Change.  Smith was released on an appearance ticket to address charges in Lima Town Court on a later date.
Kurt A. Redance, 28, South Dansville, NY, was arrested on a Fugitive Warrant on September 13, and is being held without bail in the Livingston County Jail pending extradition.
Margaret A. Barber, 40, Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign on September 14.  Following LC-CAP arraignment, Barber was released on her own recognizance to appear in answer to charges in Caledonia Town Court on a later date.
