Wellsville police nab heroin dealer

Wellsville Police arrested Levon D. Mack, age 34 of Port Allegany, PA, charging him with 2 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony), 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and 1 count of Conspiracy 4th (Class E Felony).  The charges stem from the alleged sale of heroin in the Village of Wellsville in September of 2016.  Mack was transported from the Potter County Jail, processed and arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Justice Walsh.  Mack was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 property bond.  Mack is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 24th at 4:30 p.m.  Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team
