Woodhull man arrested on I-390


INTERSTATE 390: Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Woodhull, NY man on drug charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 390. On January 24, 2018 Deputy Shawn Whitford was assigned to the Sheriff’s Office intiative “Operation Safe Interstate” when he stopped a vehicle for a NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
During the course of the traffic stop the driver of the vehicle, 38-year-old Robert D. Adams, was allegedly found to be in possession of crack cocaine and a smoking device.
Adams was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, as well as Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
Adams was turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Adams was later arraigned in the Town of Geneseo Court before Judge Kathleen Houston. The Judge did release Adams on his own recognizance (ROR) and he was set free by Deputies.
