PRESS RELEASE
On September 20 at 1:30 a.m., Troopers arrested Michael L
Robbins, 64 of Belmont, NY for driving while intoxicated and other traffic
violations. Robbins was stopped on State Route 244 in the Village of Belmont
for no muffler on his vehicle. While
interviewing Robbins, police allege the odor of an alcoholic beverage was
present. Robbins was given standard
field sobriety tests in which he failed.
Robbins was taken to SP Amity for processing. Robbins was issued traffic tickets returnable
to the Village of Belmont court for September 2017.
