BATH – The Steuben County Public Health Department received notification of the deaths of two individuals who had previously tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Steuben County to 73. One individual was a female resident of Corning Center who died while hospitalized at the age of 65, and one individual was a female resident of the Village of Bath who died while hospitalized at the age of 71.
“COVID-19 has taken too many Steuben lives,” said Public Health Director, Darlene Smith. “We cannot stress enough the importance of adhering to prevention strategies to protect those we love.”
