On August 8, 2020 the Bureau of Criminal investigation out of SP Warsaw arrested Lonnie G. Day, 74 of Nunda, NY for Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child (A Felony), Rape 1st degree (B Felony), Criminal Sex Act 1st degree (B Felony), Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child 2nd degree (D Felony), Aggravated Sex Abuse 2nd degree (C Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
On July 28, 2020, Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) out of SP Warsaw received a referral of possible sexual abuse. Further investigation revealed that Day had inappropriate sexual acts with a victim under the age of 11-years-old. Day was arrested and processed.
Day was arraigned and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail without bail.
