Time is running out for non-profit organizations, township or borough governments and small businesses to apply for funds being made available by the Potter County Commissioners to help cushion the economic impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
Potter County has been awarded $166,152 from the Pa. Dept. of Community and Economic Development. DCED eligibility guidelines allow for projects such as small business relief grants (for those applicants who have not already received federal CARES Act assistance); financial help for non-profit organizations; and subsidies to residents needing rent/mortgage assistance.
Proposals which will be evaluated based on need, impact, and completeness. Project summaries must be submitted to Tyler Dombroski (tdombroski@seda-cog.org) no later than July 17. Recipients will be selected by the Potter County Commissioners on July 30, subject to DCED approval.
