On July 5, 2020, SP Machias Troopers arrested Matthew D. Brewer, 43, of Houghton, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree, and Use of a Vehicle Without an Interlock Device.
During a traffic stop on Elm Street in the village of Franklinville, Troopers determined Brewer to allegedly be in possession of methamphetamine.
Brewer was arrested and released with appearance tickets for Franklinville Town Court, where he is due to appear in August.
