SP Olean- On June 10th, 2020 The New York State Police
conducted an Underage Drinking Enforcement Initiative. Twelve establishments
were checked for compliance resulting in the arrest of 2 individuals. The
following people were arrested under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control
Law, Section 65- Prohibited sale to a person under the age of 21:
-John L. Putnam, 66, of Olean, an employee of East State
Wine and Spirits on East State Street in Olean was issued an appearance ticket
for City of Olean court returnable at a later date.
-Ashley M. Farr, 24, of Olean, an employee of 7 Eleven on North
Union Street in Olean was issued an appearance ticket for city of Olean court
returnable at a later date.
The following establishments were found to be in compliance:

-Portville Wine and Liquor, 43 South Main Street, Portville

-Deweys Discount Beverage, 1573 Olean Portville Road, Olean

-7 Eleven, 131 West State Street, Olean NY
-Allens Liquor Store, 1411 West State Street, Olean NY
-On the Side Liquor, 2828 West State Street, Olean NY 1
-Country Fair, 421 North 12th Street, Olean NY
-Kwik Fill, 3108 West State Street, Olean
