The Cuba Police Department has been made aware of the peaceful march scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Village of Cuba. The Cuba Police Department is supportive of every individual’s right to demonstrate and peacefully protest. We also have an obligation to protect life and property. Vandalism, rioting, looting and violence have no place in our community and will not be tolerated. We would like to ask our residents and peaceful
protestors to be courteous to each other while people express their First Amendment rights of freedom to assemble and freedom of speech. We will have additional staff available to make sure everyone is safe.
