NY State Police Blotter UPDATED

5/10/20 6:48pm- During a traffic stop on Main Settlement Road in the town of Genesee, State Police arrested Minerva Sands, 64, of Genesee. She was charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on an appearance ticket for court.
5/11/20 12:38am- Two people are facing numerous drug-related counts stemming from an incident on State Route 417 in the village of Allegany. State Police arrested Mikayla S. Perkins, 19, of Bolivar and Eric H. Hess, 34, of Little Genesee. They were each charged with:
  1. Three counts, criminal possession of a controlled substance-misdemeanor
  2. criminal possession of a control substance-3rd, narcotic drug with intent to sell-B-level felony
  3. criminal possession of narcotics, B-level felony
  4. criminal use of drug paraphernalia-packaging materials, A-level misdemeanor
  5. criminal use of drug paraphernalia, scales, A-level misdemeanor
In addition, Troopers charged Perkins were resisting arrest. She was released on her own recognizance. Hess was detained.
