Vehicle crash kills Rushford man - updated with press release

A single vehicle crash Sunday morning has claimed the life of a Rushford man. The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Olean confirmed the deceased as Michael A. Blakeslee, age 27. The crash happened at 6:48 a.m. on Hess Road in the Town of Farmersville. Police said Blakeslee was driving the vehicle. No additional information has been released.

PRESS RELEASE

On May 24, 2020 at 6:48 A.M., Troopers out of SP Amity responded to Hess Road in the town of Farmersville for a one vehicle collision. Further investigation revealed that a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo was traveling eastbound on Hess Road and exited the roadway which caused the vehicle to overturn. The operator and sole occupant, Michael A. Blakeslee, 27 of Rushford, NY was pronounced deceased at the scene.
