When the Allegany County Human Services committee meets on January 8th, members will vote on a few matters involving Wellsville physician Dr. Christopher Depner. Public Health Director Lori Ballengee sent a memorandum of explanation to legislators:

The Health Department requests approval to renew a contract with Dr. Christopher Depner to provide Coroner Physician
services for the Allegany County Department of Health commencing on January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.Dr. Depner has never asked for additional reimbursement to provide these services. The County Attorney has approved this effort.
-The Health Department requests approval to renew a contract with Dr. Christopher Depner to provide Medical Director services for the Allegany County Department of Health commencing on January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.This is a contract renewal with no financial changes. Dr. Depner provides excellent services and is a valuable asset to the department. The County Attorney has approved this contract.
