Lynne A. Skinner, 83, of Westfield, PA, died Sunday,
September 1, 2019 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Born December 28, 1935, in Roulette, she was
the daughter of Lynn and Louise Thielges Caulkins. On October 24, 1959, in Roulette, she married
Glenn W. “Skip” Skinner, who survives. A
graduate of Roulette High School and Bryant and Stratton Business School in
Buffalo, NY, she was employed by North Ridge Industrial Corp. as a secretary
for Eliot Ness in Coudersport, secretary for Westfield Township,
secretary/treasurer for the Potter Brook TV Association, and was a
self-employed Notary Public. Lynne
served as secretary/treasurer of Riverview Cemetery Co., Inc. for many years
and was a girl scout leader, cheerleading advisor, and church youth group
leader. Surviving besides her husband,
Skip, are: a daughter, Tami V. (Jeffrey)
Carmichael of Grand Forks, ND; a grandson, Spencer J. Carmichael; a sister,
Virgina (Robert) Russell of Port Allegany; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, James A.
Skinner; two sisters, Frances Vota and Agnes Nolder; and a brother, David
Caulkins. Friends may call at Olney Funeral
Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. Timothy H. Miller will
officiate. A luncheon will follow the
service. Burial will be in Riverview
Cemetery, Potter Brook. Memorials may be
