Allegany County Churches Join for Summer Gathering

David and Carol Williams of Wellsville lead a time of praise and worship Sunday evening at Island Park in Wellsville as congregants from some dozen Allegany County churches came together for the first of two public multi-church dish-to-pass picnics for the summer.  The Journey to Transformation event, hosted by the Mission Genesee Valley coalition of churches, other Christian organizations and individuals seeking community transformation and revival in the county and beyond, will be repeated from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 11, at the same location.  The initiative hosts rotating prayer meetings and other activities several times a month and will be participating this Saturday in front of the David A.
