Miller accepts proclamation from Mayor Shayler.

Friday Wellsville Mayor Randy Shayler attended a Middle School Assembly where he helped celebrate the 20th Anniversary of JUMP Day by presenting teacher and organizer Lois Miller with a certificate of appreciation recognizing her efforts and the students who have participated in JUMP Day over the years. Afterwards the party continued with cake for all in the cafeteria. JUMP Day will take place in the village on Thursday when more than 250 middle school students and advisors will perform acts of community service throughout the village and at the new SPCA shelter.
