The New York State Department of Transportation announced today that bridge joint replacement work will begin on Interstate 86 eastbound at exit 33 in the town of Almond on May 15, 2019. Work will consist of removing and replacing existing bridge joints. For the duration of this work, one lane of traffic will be maintained. Work is anticipated to last approximately five days, weather permitting.
Motorists may encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience travel delays.
