Pa Troopers release information on double fatal crash in Ceres Township

Two men from Allegany County were fatally injured Wednesday night when the car then were in slammed into a tree. Pennsylvania State Police said the crash happened at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday. State police said 34-year-old Robert Garden of Little Genesee was traveling north on State Route 44 at an apparent high rate of speed, when he lost control and struck a tree. Garden and his passenger, 22-year-old James M. Palidar, also of little Genesee died at the scene. Police said the accident remains under investigation. Assisting troopers at the scene were Shinglehouse fire and ambulance, Portville ambulance, Olean 10 and the McKean County Coroner's office.
