Causer, Local Officials to Dedicate Commander Philip F. "Jet" Palmatier Jr. Memorial Bridge
 
WHAT:     The bridge on Avenue A over the Allegheny River in Coudersport, Potter County, is being designated as the Commander Philip F. "Jet" Palmatier Jr. Memorial Bridge. A native of Coudersport, Palmatier graduated with honors from the high school and was appointed to the U.S. Naval Academy. Palmatier, a career Navy officer, was flying a training mission over the Gulf of Mexico when his TA-4 Skyhawk collided with another jet on Dec. 10, 1990. He died at the age of 40.
