Livingston County District Attorney Report - July 3, 2018

After presentation by Joshua J. Tonra, Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on July 3, 2018.

JAQUAN E. CAGE, age 25, of Rochester pled was sentenced on a conviction of Burglary in the Third Degree (D Felony) to 4 months incarceration and 5 years probation. He was also ordered to pay a $325 surcharge and a $50 DNA fee.
ANTHONY CASSATA, age 54, of Dansville, convicted of Attempted Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (E Felony), appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned September 4, 2018 for sentencing.
JOSEPH R. CUOZZO, III, age 35, of York was arraigned on a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to July 11, 2018. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
DANIELLE S. DOWNS, age 35, of Rochester, charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (D Felony), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Speeding, appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned for hearings.
RUSSELL H. MAURER, age 62, of Livonia, charged with Attempted Burglary in the Third Degree (E Felony), Petit Larceny (Misdemeanor), and Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree (Misdemeanor), appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned for hearings.
RICHARD A. METCALF, age 53, of Dansville was charged with Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (E Felony). He was arraigned with his attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to September 11, 2018.
STEVEN P. RIGONI, age 39, of Pavilion was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (B Felony). He was arraigned with his attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to September 11, 2018. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
KYLE J. WEBSTER, age 21, of Mt. Morris was sentenced on a conviction of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony) to 6 months incarceration and 10 years probation to include Sex Offender Registration. He was also ordered to pay a $325 surcharge, a $50 DNA fee, a $1000 Sex Offender Registry Fee, and restitution.
