Details of Incident:
After a joint investigation between the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Olean Police Street Crimes Unit, Detectives from the Drug Task Force and Olean Police executed a search warrant at 210 ½ West Green Street in the City of Olean. During the search, detectives discovered approximately 11 grams of Crack Cocaine, 8 grams of Heroin and approximately 6 Morphine pills.
Detectives took 21-year-old Kasia L. Lewis into custody. Police said she occupied the residence. Lewis was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree a class (B) Felony and Criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree a class (A) Misdemeanor. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task force was assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team, The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit and the City of Olean Police Department. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is made up of members of the Salamanca City Police Department, Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, New York state Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Franklinville Village Police Department the Village of Gowanda Police Department.
