Allegany County: Man dies in fatal tractor accident in Almond

State Police were called to a tractor incident in Almond Saturday at 3:58 p.m. Police said the operator was fatally injured. There was very little information available today. We know the incident occurred along Whitford Road in the Town of Almond. The State Police Public Information Officer in Batavia said a farm tractor operator was attempting to pull a "stuck vehicle" when the tractor overturned and the operator was killed. An Investigator at SP Amity said it was a true accident and said there will be no charges. Troopers said it was a "local man" but no other information was available.
