Bath: Man arrested after stabbing

Bath police arrested Jabob Gavette, 20, of 23 West Morris Street in Bath. He was charged felony 2nd degree assault. Police said he allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old man in the abdomen last night. The victim was transferred to Robert Packer Hospital for treatment. Gavette was arraigned and committed to the Steuben County Jail on $2,000 bail.
