Wellsville firefighters responded to a vehicle fire Sunday afternoon. There was a brief delay in locating the scene since radio reports indicated the caller was unsure of the location. First Responders soon discovered the fire scene on Smith Hollow Road. The vehicle was totally consumed by flames. One person sustained "very minor" burns and was treated by Wellsville Ambulance at the scene.

Wellsville Fire, assisted by Andover, also handled an alarm at the ARC complex on O'Connor Street. No word on the cause or extent of damage. Crews were at the scene for over an hour.
