Ann G. Hallett, 79, of Scio, NY, died Friday, January 8, 2021. Born August 7, 1941, in Corning, she was the daughter of Irving and Dorothy Shufelt Gladstone. On August 17, 1963, in Addison, she married James W. Hallett, who predeceased her on August 9, 2010.
A graduate of Addison Central School, she earned a
bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University and a master’s degree from
Alfred University. She was employed as a
math teacher at Wellsville High School for many years. One of Ann’s favorite pastimes included
spending time with her family in the Adirondacks.
Surviving are: two children, Catherine (Christopher) DeLorenzo of Saratoga Springs and J. Andrew Hallett of Wilmington; two grandchildren, John (Emily) DeLorenzo and Elizabeth DeLorenzo; a sister, Margaret Hargrave of CA; nieces and nephews.
