Allegany County - Availability and Distribution of Face Masks to Senior Citizens

Belmont, NY - Governor Cuomo previously issued an Executive Order requiring all people in New York State to wear masks or face coverings in public when social distancing cannot be maintained. The New York State Office for the Aging has secured over 1.8 million cloth masks for New Yorkers age 70 and over. The Allegany County Office for the Aging and the Allegany County Office of Emergency Services has teamed up with your local Fire Departments and EMS providers to distribute the cloth face mask across Allegany County to residents 70 years of age and older. Distribution sites have been set up to provide a no contact drive thru for mask pick-up. Registration is required by calling the Office for the Aging at 585-268-9390. Please register for the distribution site closest to your home.

The Allegany County Office for the Aging and the Allegany County Office of Emergency Services are grateful for the dedication and service of our local emergency responders. Thank you to the emergency services volunteers assisting with the distribution sites. Registration is required by calling the Office for the Aging at 585-268-9390. Please register for the distribution site closest to your home. If you are homebound and unable to attend a distribution site, contact the Office for the Aging and we will arrange for delivery with the assistance of local emergency responders.
