VILLAGE BOARD MEETING AGENDA

5:30 – Public Hearing:

2019-20 LL#1Regulation of Parking of Motor Vehicles on Public Places and

LL#2 Providing for the Impounding of Motor Vehicles by Police Under

Circumstances Where Authorized by the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Accept the minutes for the Regular Meeting held on December 23, 2019. 

VISITORS:  Bill Davis, MRB   

MAYOR’S BUSINESS: 

1.       Request acceptance and approval of the Application for Special Event Permit for the Wellsville High School Graduation to be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, beginning at 7:00 pm.  As in the past, requesting police assistance in redirecting traffic/shutting down West State Street 15 minutes prior, through the conclusion (approx. 60-90 minutes).

2.      Request acceptance and approval of the Application for Special Event Permit from the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce for their Wine Walk 2020 to be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, running from 1:00-4:00pm.  The location will be North Main Street, from the Village Offices to the Beef Haus restaurant, with an extension to Jefferson Street (American Legion and Tami’s Florist) and Pearl Street (Julie’s Consignment).  Participants will walk along the sidewalks.

TRUSTEES’ BUSINESS:

                  COLE: 

1.      Request acceptance and approval of the vouchers as listed in the Abstract of    Vouchers dated January 13, 2020.
MONROE: 

1.      Nothing to discuss. 

                  ROESKE:

1.      Request Board approval to allow Village DPW to install a directional sign supplied by the East Dyke Museum at the corner of South Main and East Dyke Streets.

                  FAHS:

                        1.   Request Board approval for three change orders to the Water Treatment Plant                    HMI Project.  The total of the three change orders amounts to $9,200 which                             brings the project total to $22,475.  Total Board approved Capital Plan budget for this project is $38,000.

 

                        2.   Request Board approval for deaccession of old Water Treatment Plant                  turbidimeter, chlorine analyzer and controller equipment per attached list; and                         donate to NY Rural Waters to assist other municipal water systems.

                        3.   Bill Davis from MRB will be giving the Board an update on the WWTP                             Upgrade Project.
