The July 4th larceny of a vehicle in the Town of Wirt has resulted in charges. State police said they arrested two boys from Alma, ages 15 and 16. They were each charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property valued at more than $3,000. That’s a class D felony crime. Meanwhile two other teens have been arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle from Wellsville on July 7th. A 16-year-old Alma boy and a 15-year-old male from Wellsville were charged with felony possession of stolen property. The Alma teen was also charged with felony grand larceny. In a separate case from July 5th in Wellsville, they were also charged with felony counts of residential burglary and criminal mischief to a vehicle. The Alma boys were also charged with criminal trespass for an incident on Meservey Hill Road in Wellsville.

A Scranton, PA man was detained on cash bail after he was pulled over Wednesday night on I-86 in Cuba. State police said they arrested 49-year-old David Garcia. He was charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a lesser count of operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs.
