Mama's Smokin 'BBQ in Shongo reopened Thursday and co-owner Mike Edwards takes the first order. The local hot spot will be open seven days a week starting from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Decorated with the same old tin signs (some saved from September's fire, some given to them) the restaurant is offering the same mouth-watering menu and a little local history to boot. The business is larger and now offers outdoor seating.
