Wellsville town board told 'it's not about today, but rather tomorrow'

The Wellsville town board met for one hour and thirty-eight minutes Wednesday night. During the session, members heard from Jones Memorial Hospital Vice President Brenda Szabo. Her presentation was all about building for the future. Szabo explained her efforts with the local waterfront revitalization program. In short, the effort is aimed at "making the most of the Genesee River in every town and village it passes through. Szabo called the initiative "an investment in our future." She quipped that she may not see the collective fruits of effort, but she hoped she would. In summary, the effort is a long-term plan to boost tourism and activity along walking and hiking trails and activities on the river.
