When the Allegany County Ways & Means Committee meets
June 10th, it will consider approving a resolution to purchase three properties
from the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester. The properties are located in the
village of Belmont at 8, 10 and 12 Willets Avenue. The properties involve a
Parish Hall and parking lot – all are already tax exempt. The purchase price is
$105,000. If approved, the money would come from the county’s contingency or
rain day account.
