NY State Police Blotter

A man has been arrested following a violent assault in Centerville. Troopers said they took 52-year-old Donald Wolfer of Freedom into custody. He faces charges of felony assault to inflict injury with a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use. Court action is pending.

State police say a Friendship was impaired behind the wheel when he was pulled over on Route 19. Placed under arrest was 22-year-old Kyle Templar. His charges include driving while intoxicated and having a BAC above .08%.

Multiple felony counts have been leveled against a Cuba man. State police said they arrested 34-year-old Frederick Butler. He has been charged with 3rd degree grand larceny and filing a false statement with authorities.

There was a traffic crash late Saturday night in Centerville. There was an injury and also and arrest. State police said they arrested 53-year-old Thomas Lewandowski. He was charged with DWI, speeding and moving from a lane unsafely. The crash happened on Allegany County Route 36.
