City of Olean Residents
During the weeks of August 13 and August 20, 2018, the City
of Olean Department of Public Works and its Contractors will be undertaking street
work on Gilmore Avenue, Davis Street, Edgewood Avenue, and East & West
Highland Avenue.
This work will involve recycling the existing pavement
surface. Due to this work, there will be
no on-street parking. Access will be
provided to driveways.
After the work is completed, the aforementioned streets
will have restricted heavy truck access for two weeks to allow the product to
cure; however, garbage will be picked up as usual. A small truck will be used to do the
collection on these streets. Please be
patient during this period.
