-We worked with Meehan Excavating from Whitesville and Otis Eastern to rebuild a streambank that had failed during heavy rainfall on July 4th. We secured permitting and provided technical advice, Otis Eastern provided a bulldozer and Bill Meehan operated the bulldozer. This streambank failure led to flooding of several houses in Shongo.
-Consolidated Funding grants are due July 27, 2018. We will
be submitting a grant for a salt storage barn in the Town of Granger and a
streambank stabilization grant for the erosion problems in Friendship.
-CAFO Waste Storage Grant Round 2 applications are due August
6, 2018. We will be submitting 4 applications.-Round 24 of the Ag Non-Point Source grant applications are due August 20, 2018. We plan on submitting 7 applications.
-Our letters of intent for the Van Campen Creek Stabilization and the Philips Creek Streambank Stabilization projects were accepted by FEMA. Grant applications for these projects are due August 15, 2018.
