Fire damages Coudersport business

Fire last night damaged Twin Tier Linen in downtown Coudersport. Smoke could be seen billowing from the building for blocks. Firefighters were called out at 5 p.m. Extra help was called in from Shinglehouse, Port Allegany, Roulette, Austin and Galeton. Fire Chief Bryan Phelps told the Bradford Era that one Roulette firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital. Fire crews remained on the scene for hours. The cause remains under investigation.
