Participating in the concert will be Sound Foundation,
Casual Reply, Chris and Lyndsey Dahill, the bell choir of Grace United, the
choir of Grace United, as well as several musicians from the church including
Irma Howard, her granddaughter Katya, and Jim and Gabby Knapp. The music will
range from popular, sacred, spirituals, and original compositions. There is no
charge for the concert, but a free will offering will be taken to support the Community
Kitchen and Meals-on-Wheels. The Community Kitchen is located at the Mission Center
of Grace United and provides a free meal at noontime on Saturdays for anyone.
Mealson- Wheels are delivered five days a week to older people who find it
difficult to shop or cook for themselves.
“The concert is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon
listening to beautiful music and supporting programs that help those right here
in our own community,” said Toot. “Please join us.”
