This past Sunday, December 3, 2017, Hornell Central School senior Kuryn Newark participated in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Mixed Choir performance at Eastman Performing Arts Center in Rochester, NY. Kuryn was selected from over 1,000 other students statewide in order to obtain the presitigious opportunity to perform with the best-of-the-best from the entire state and became only the second Hornell High choral student to gain such a distinction in the last 25 years. Kuryn's entire family, as well as the entire Hornell community and Vocal Arts program at HHS wish to congratulate and share their appreciation of Kuryn's distinction and success!
