Hornell Elks Lodge #364 Donates $1,500 to Hornell Food Pantries

In this season of giving, Turning Point Hornell would like to recognize Hornell Elks Lodge #364 for generously awarding a grant in the amount of $1,500 to support Turning Point food pantries in Hornell (Turning Point Hornell) and Canisteo (Steuben County Rural Ministry).
The donation was made possible by the Elks National Foundation (ENF), which created a $1,500 Anniversary Grant in honor of the Elks’ 150th anniversary. The grant was made available to every Elks Lodge in the nation to encourage even more charitable work.
Hornell Elks Lodge #364 applied for one of these Anniversary Grants, the proposal was approved, and a check for $1,500 was presented by Elks Lodge ENF Committee Member Barbara Perrott to Turning Point Site Coordinator William Herrick just as the food pantries were preparing for the holidays.
Since its inception, the ENF has contributed $453.9 million toward Elks charitable projects nationwide.
