On December 13th, in the continuation of a several month multiple burglary investigation, Cuba Police Department arrested Shawn E. Roney, 24, currently in the Allegany County Jail. Roney was charged with burglary 2nd (Felony) and criminal possession of stolen property 5th (Misdemeanor). Roney was processed and remanded back to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 bail. Roney is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The Cuba Police Department would like to encourage any resident that feels they may have been a victim of a burglary to contact our office at 585-968-1666.
