Steuben County Forest Ranger remembered, 47 years after his death

On Tuesday, Steuben County Forest Ranger Raymond Murray's name was added to the New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Wall in Albany. Murray died in the line of duty during a plane crash while on fire watch October 9, 1970. 118 names were added to the New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the Empire State Plaza to honor the memory and heroism of brave men and women who risked their lives to protect the citizens of New York.
