Cuba schedules hydrant flushing
The Village of Cuba Department of Public Works will be conducting Fall fire hydrant flushing and maintenance beginning Monday, October 23, 2017 at 6 a.m. daily until all hydrants are flushed. Village residents can expect mild water discoloration as hydrants are flushed in their area and may wish to cease running laundry machines or automatic ice makers until completion. Water is safe for bathing and consumption but residents are advised to simply run their faucets momentarily to let the initial water pass. For any questions on this flushing process or to report a problem with a local hydrant, please contact the Cuba Village Office, 17 East Main St., Cuba, or (585) 968-1560 during office hours Monday-Thursday 7 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
