State Police spoil early morning cruise through Alma

Four North Tonawanda teenagers, mostly name-protected based on tender years, had an early morning adventurous ride in the Town of Alma stopped...abruptly, by the red lights of a State Police patrol vehicle. It all happened one minute before 4 a.m. today along County Road 18. According to the State Police public blotter, troopers charged the driver, an 18-year-old boy, with moving from a lane unsafely and unlawful possession of marijuana. Sadly for Corey M. Taravella, his age of 19 allowed police to post his name and pot possession charge. Two others, an 18-year-old boy and girl, also name protected, were also charged with possessing the currently illegal marijuana. All four will enjoy a visit in Alma Town Court at a later date.
