Wyoming deputies arrest truck driver

Vahagurupal S. Pummay, 28, Bakersfield, CA,  was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 20A in the Town of Perry.  Pummay was stopped for driving his tractor trailer westbound onto State Route 20A west of State Route 246 which is prohibited.  Tractor Trailer drivers are required to maintain a current log book which documents their daily activity.  Pummay was allegedly found to have a log book without any documentation for the previous two days.  Pummay was arrested and charged with Log Book Violation (misdemeanor), Expired Tax Permit, Over length Vehicle – Combination, and Disobeyed Traffic Control Device.  Pummay was escorted to a nearby turn around area where he was taken out of service for a total of ten hours.  Pummay was scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court on May 24, 2017.
