Fire departments plan for recruiting weekend

Fire departments across New York are getting ready to open their doors to new members with Recruit NY weekend.  The seventh annual weekend of open houses will be April 29th and 30th, and many departments will be hosting tours, demonstrating firefighting techniques, and allowing visitors to try on gear.
