While many spent Sunday afternoon watching the Buffalo Bills game, or other NFL games, volunteer firefighters from four departments battled a trailer fire in Andover. The alarm sounded around 3 p.m. sending Andover fire and ambulance to Greenan Road. Allegany County 911 said the trailer was located between the Wellsville town line and Baker Road. When District Fire Coordinator Brian Smith arrived on scene, he reported "a fully involved" trailer fire. Additional help was called in from Alfred Station, Wellsville and Whitesville fire departments. The cause was to be determined by fire investigators.
