On June 6, 2025, Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests: JOSEPH ANDERSON. Age 37, of Wellsville, NY and NAZIR BINHUGULEY, age 23, of Buffalo, NY were arrested and charged with Assault in the 2nd degree following investigation into an incident which occurred on May 31, 2025 during which ANDERSON and BINHUGULEY caused physical injury to an incarcerated individual while being housed at the Allegany County Jail. Both were arraigned in CAP court and held pending further court proceedings.
