The flag and pole were installed at the Johnson Cemetery by Jones Memorial Hospital.
June 14th, 2025
Flag Day Service was held at Wellsville Rod and Gun Club. The 11:00 AM service was attended by approximately 60 people including Post 702 AL Family Members and guests.
Post 702 AL Commander, Yvonne Simmons was the Master of Ceremonies.
The order for the ceremony was: Welcome, Opening Remarkes, Opening Prayer, Posting of the Colors, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Ragged Old Flag reading, Folds of the Flag (The flag that was used for the Folds of the Flag was given to Kris Green on his retirement from the United States Air Force), Presentation of Flags for disposal, Ceremonial Flag Burning, all joined in for signing of God Bless America and Closing Prayer.
