Wellsville Police Blotter

Date: Sunday June 22, 2025

Wellsville Police arrested Lisa G. Poore, age 60 of Wellsville, charging her with DWI (Felony), Failure to Keep Right (Infraction), Refusal to take breath test (Infraction) and Consumption/Alcohol in a motor vehicle (Infraction).  The charges stem from a traffic stop on East State Street.  Poore was processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.  Poore is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 15th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested Bryent A.K. Scotchmer, age 31 of Scio, for a violation of Pre-Trial release.  Scotchmer was located on South Brooklyn Avenue and taken into custody.  Scotchmer was processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.  Scotchmer is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Kevin J. Tyler, age 53 of Andover, charging him with Public Lewdness (Class B Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place on North Main Street.  Tyler was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Tyler is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Daniel E. Fronczak, age 49 of Belmont, charging him with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place East Fassett Street.  Fronczak was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Fronczak is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 8th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Rachel E. Simon, age 37 of Wellsville, charging her with Menacing 2nd (Class A Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place on Madison Street.  Simon was processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.  Simon is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Linda L. Patterson, age 51 of Wellsville, charging her with Burglary 2nd (Class C Felony) and Criminal Tampering 3rd (Class B Misdemeanor).  The charges stem from an incident that took place on Washington Street on June 20th.  Patterson was processed and transported to the Allegany County jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.  Patterson is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.
